RCMP FILE:    2018-31873

The owners of a property on the 4000 block of June Springs Road reported an overnight theft on June 10th.  Around 4:00 a.m. a white Ford F550 dump truck had pulled up to the side of the road near the residence.  The occupant was wearing a high-visibility vest, leading the home owners to believe they were road construction workers.  Later in the morning they discovered a fence at the rear of the property had been cut and the shop had been broken into.  The thieves left with a blue 2007 Polaris quad (VIN is 4X1TN76AX7A961935) with large 21” tires and no battery attached.  A couple of weeks later the owner reported seeing a male riding past him on his stolen quad at a high rate of speed.  The male is described as being a Caucasian male in his 40’s and could be associated to other thefts in the area.
