CRIME:  THEFT OF TRUCK/TRAILER/SLED

DATE:    April 2, 2017

RCMP FILE:  2017-16168

A black Ford F150 with Alberta plates that was hitched to a trailer holding a Polaris RMK sled was taken from a location on Highway 97 C near Sunset Main on April 2nd between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.  Both the truck and the trailer, which was a white covered trailer that had “High Altitude Addiction” written on it in lime green, were later recovered.  The snowmobile, a 2012 Polaris RMK 800 with VIN SN1CH8GS6CC485613 is still missing.

CRIME:  THEFT FROM VEHICLE

DATE:    April 10, 2017

RCMP FILE:  2017-17577

An unlocked truck parked on the 3500 block of Springer Road in West Kelowna fell prey to thieves checking for unlocked doors sometime during the early hours of April 10th.   Thieves were able to get away with a Makita 7 ¼’ circular saw, 18V drill, 18V impact driver, 12V generator and various hand tools.  No serial numbers are currently available.
