CRIME: Jewellery Theft From Hwy 97 Residence

Someone pried open the door of a home in the 1900 block of Hwy 97 S on May 27 taking over $5,000 worth of property. Stolen items include 2 Audiovox cell phones, a 14k gold ring with three rows of sapphires and diamonds, a 14k gold pinkie ring, a 14k gold band, an 18k gold antique Alaska black diamond ring and a porcelain necklace.

CRIME: Break and Enter at Travel Tyme
DATE: June 2, 2006
RCMP FILE: 2006-26292


On June 2, someone stormed the gate at Travel Tyme. First, the culprit broke into the office and stole cash, then made off in a 1996 Dodge Ram parked by the building, smashing the vehicle through the front gate. Parts of the gate were found on Stevens Road along with tail light fragments.
