A 30-second timelapse video taken over 24 hours in Newfoundland has gone viral.
St. John's is currently in a state of emergency with some areas accumulating 76 centimetres of snowfall in a single day. Driven by strong winds, drifting snow buried cars, homes and highways.
Posted on Sunday, the video shows a front porch as it quickly gets consumed by snow, including two parked vehicles in the driveway.
The state of emergency is currently in its fourth day, and Armed Forces personnel are gearing up to help citizens dig their communities out of the snow.
