Dear Cop - Licence Class

I have a class 4 drivers licence, and recently received a notice in the mail telling me I needed to get a physical done to retain my class 4 licence. Because I no longer require the class 4 licence for what I was using it for (I was driving taxi), does my class 4 revert to a class 5? Or because I have not got the physical done for the class 4, has my licence been suspended, or worse, canceled, and I currently don't have a valid drivers licence?

I looked through the Motor Vehicle Act and the Motor Vehicle Act Regulations to find and answer and I have to admit I was stumped. I do know from previous experience that if you do not take the medical that you will be down graded to a class 5 drivers licence, however, I would strongly suggest that you attend Motor Vehicle Branch in person to clear this matter up.
