Here are some makeup tips to follow:

1. To get maximum longevity from your make-up, store the products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
2. Get rid of that dried up mascara - do not add water to make it last longer. Mascara usually lasts 3 months maximum. You do not want to increase your chances of getting an eye infection.
3. Eye pencils and shadows usually last 2 years.  However make sure you clean the applicators each time you use them and sharpen the pencil before you use it.
4. Blushes can last up to 2 years and cream blush 1 year.
5. Foundations: always use a clean sponge for application and remember to clean your brush frequently for powders. Most foundations, powders will keep for 1 year.
