Penticton Vees assistant captain commits to U.S. college

Congrats to Vees leader

The Penticton Vees are congratulating one of their assistant captains for his commitment to Merrimack College.

Frank Djurasevic, 19, is in his second season with the Vees. He was with Trinity-Pawling School and the North Jersey Avalanche before coming to Penticton.

“I’m extremely excited to make my commitment to Merrimack and head to a school with great history and tradition,” said Djurasevic, “I can’t wait to be a part of a great program and I’d like to thank my friends, family, coaches and teammates for helping me along the way.”

Merrimack College is located in North Andover, Massachusetts. The Warriors have another Vees alumni on their roster: forward Devlin O’Brien.

The Vees continue their start to the season at home against the Trail Smoke Eaters Friday night at the SOEC. Puck drop is at 7 p.m., and tickets can be found here.
