The BC Hockey League fully supports the provincial government’s proof of vaccination mandate, according to a statement issued by the league Tuesday.
The league said anyone who plans on attending a BCHL game will need to show they have received the COVID-19 vaccine.
“All spectators attending a BCHL game for our 17 B.C. teams will be required to show proof of vaccination,” the BCHL said in a statement posted to social media.
“This also extends to any players or team staff that are required to enter a BCHL building at any given time.”
The league said they are committed to upholding this mandate to ensure players, staff and fans stay healthy.
“We look forward to getting back on the ice in a few short weeks and safely competing during our 2021-22 season,” the BCHL said.
