The Penticton Vees beat the West Kelowna Warriors on Sunday afternoon.
The Penticton Vees have their 10th straight victory under their belt after a 5-4 win over the West Kelowna Warriors Sunday afternoon.
The two teams traded goals in the first, ending with a 2-1 advantage for the Warriors.
In the second, it was all Vees. Connor Hutchinson fired a slapshot into the net and just minutes later Nico Somerville assisted Jackson Niedermayer to give the home team an advantage heading into the third period.
Two goals from the Warriors made it 4-3, but Niedermeyer got his second of the game to tie the game up and send it into overtime.
Nico Somerville made it official with the overtime goal, earning the Vees a 5-4 victory.
Final shots on goal: 41-37 in favour of the Vees.
