Vipers tame Wild

The Vernon Vipers tamed the Wild Tuesday night at Kal Tire Place.

The Vipers trounced Wenatchee 7-2 to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven BC Hockey League Interior Division finals.

Scoring was a team effort, with seven players each collecting a single goal, including Teddy Wooding who also collected three assists on the night.

The Vipers will have a chance to make it 3-1 tonight when they once again host the Wild at Kal Tire Place.

The puck drops at 7 p.m.

The winner of the Vipers-Wild series will take on the Prince George Spruce Kings in the league final for the Fred Page Cup.
