Snakes, Smokies square off

It has come down to a best-of-three series between the Vernon Vipers and the Trail Smoke Eaters who will meet tonight in Vernon.

The two BC Hockey Interior Division teams are knotted up at two games apiece in the best-of-seven playoff race.

The Smokies won the first two games of the series in Vernon before the action shifted to Trail, where the Snakes earned back-to-back wins.

Game five goes tonight at 7 p.m. at Kal Tire Place.

Game six will be back in Trail Saturday and game seven, if needed, will be in Vernon on March 25.
