Big win for Vipers

The Vernon Vipers came up big when they had to, scoring three goals in third period Tuesday evening to beat the Trail Smoke Eaters 4-3.

It was an impressive come-from-behind with for the Vipers with Jesse Lansdell scoring the winning goal with just 72 seconds left to play.

It was Lansdell's second of the night with singles coming from Coleton Bilodeau and Connor Marritt.

The Vipers went into the BC Hockey League Interior Division playoff contest down 2-0 in the best of seven.

Game four takes place tonight in Trail, with game five being decided at Kal Tire Place March 22.

Games six and seven, if needed, will be in Trail March 23 and Vernon March 25.
