A 4-1 win over the Cowichan Valley Capitals at the South Okanagan Events Centre Saturday night means the Penticton Vees are still in the playoffs.
The Vees were facing elimination heading into the game, down three games to one in their first-round series.
Two goals from Massimo RIzzo gave the Vees a lead in the second period, followed by a shorthanded Capitals goal. Two more goals, both on powerplays, clinched the game for the Vees.
The Vees will now head back to Duncan for game six Monday night.
