The Vernon Vipers came up big Saturday with a much-needed 2-1 overtime win against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
The two BC Hockey League Interior Division teams are now locked at one game each in a best-of-seven playoff series.
The Silverbacks beat the Vipers 5-3 in the opening game of the series.
The first two games were played at Kal Tire Place, but the next two games will be played in Salmon Arm.
The 'Backs will host the Vipers tonight and Wednesday for games three and four.
Game five will be played in Vernon and if necessary, game 6 will be played in Salmon Arm with game 7 finishing the series in Vernon.
