The West Kelowna Warriors will honour those who fought for our freedom Wednesday night at Royal LePage Place.
A special Remembrance Ceremony will take place prior to Wednesday's BC Hockey League game between the Warriors and Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
Warriors director of business operations says the armed forces work every day to keep Canadians safe, even at the expense of their own life.
"It's so important for us to have a night where we can pay our respects to our veterans," said Draper.
"They do so much to keep our country safe, so it's great to have a night where we can show our support to all of our veterans."
Along with a special tribute, the Warriors will also wear special commemorative jerseys for the game.
The jerseys will be auctioned off on the Warriors website immediately following the game.
Faceoff Wednesday is 7 p.m.
