The Okanagan Sun can't wait to play before their rabid fans at the Apple Bowl.
As a way of thanking fans for their patience over nearly two years without football, the Sun, Skogies Car Wash and Safeway are treating fans to a free afternoon of football.
Complimentary tickets will be made available to fans on a first-come, first-serve basis for the Oct. 9 home opener against the Kamloops Broncos.
Tickets will be available late next week at Skogies on Clement and the downtown Safeway. There's a maximum of four tickets per person.
Along with free entry, the first 2,000 fans into the Apple Bowl that day will receive a free hot dog and Coke courtesy of Safeway.
Kickoff on Oct. 9 is 4 p.m.
