UPDATE: 4:30 p.m.
BC Conservative candidate for Kelowna Centre Kristina Loewen has had her lead over BC NDP candidate Loyal Wooldridge cut by more than half after mail-in ballots were counted Saturday.
With the second and final Elections BC update of the day, Loewen's lead in the local riding has been cut to just 72 votes, down from 148 on election night.
According to the Elections BC data, the 593 mail-in votes for the Kelowna Centre riding have now been counted, but approximately 228 absentee ballots remain uncounted in the riding. Elections BC says the remaining ballots will be counted on Monday.
But while the Kelowna Centre riding will go down to the wire, the Surrey Guilford riding is even closer, with just 12 votes separating leading BC Conservative candidate Honveer Singh Randhawa from the BC NDP candidate Garry Begg. There remains 226 and absentee ballots left to count in that riding.
The other close ridings in B.C. appear to be largely settled as more mail-in ballots are counted, with the NDP holding onto their leads in Juan de Fuca Malahat and Surrey City Centre, by 106 and 178 votes respectively.
Elections BC already announced it will conduct a full recount in the Juan de Fuca-Malahat and Surrey Centre ridings, which are done automatically when there is a difference in votes of less than 100. A partial recount will be conducted in Kelowna Centre due to a transcription error involving one tabulator used in the riding.
These recounts are scheduled to take place Sunday and into Monday.
It's not clear if a full recount will be held in Kelowna Centre or Surrey Guilford if the final vote differences remains below 100.
Incumbent NDP MLA for Vernon-Lumby, Harwinder Sandhu, has extended her lead to 532 votes over BC Conservative candidate Dennis Giesbrecht, up fro 385 votes after election night.
And to the south, BC Conservative candidate for Penticton-Summerland Amelia Boultbee saw her lead over BC NDP candidate Tina Lee reduced, but Boultbee remains ahead by 354 votes, down from 473.
While mail-in ballots of the ridings that are less close will proceed Sunday, along with recounts in Juan de Fuca-Malahat and Surrey City Centre, the final absentee ballots from all ridings will be counted Monday.

With the first update of the mail-in votes coming Saturday from Elections BC, no ridings have flipped from the results on election night yet, but one has come close.
The counting of the estimated 65,000 mail-in and absentee ballots began Saturday morning, with the final result not expected until Monday.
As of 1 p.m., little has changed province-wide, with the BC NDP still leading in 46 ridings, compared to the BC Conservatives' 45 and the Green Party's two. But while the NDP has extended their vote leads in the very close Juan de Fuca-Malahat and Surrey Centre ridings, the BC Conservatives lead in the Surrey-Guilford riding has decreased from 103 votes to just 14.
Following the Oct. 19 election, the results were too close to call in a number of B.C. ridings, leaving the future of B.C.'s government up in the air for the past week.
After 384 new mail-in ballots were counted in the Surrey-Guilford riding, it's now become the closest race in the province. There are an estimated 250 more ballots to count in that riding.
In the other close ridings of Juan de Fuca-Malahat, the NDP candidate extended his lead from 23 to 106 Saturday morning, while in Surrey Centre, the NDP candidate's lead grew from 93 votes to 162.
Locally, the Kelowna Centre riding saw BC Conservative candidate Kristina Loewen secure 148 more votes than NDP candidate Loyal Wooldridge after election night. While Loewen declared victory, Wooldridge did not concede, opting to instead wait for the final results to come in this weekend.
But Elections BC says its latest update included new votes in just six ridings, which did not include Kelowna Centre, although it appears on the Elections BC website that a single new vote has been counted for Wooldridge. An estimated 818 more mail-in and absentee ballots are expected to come in for Kelowna Centre.
The next update from Elections BC on mail-in ballot counting will come at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Elections BC will conduct a full recount in the Juan de Fuca-Malahat and Surrey Centre ridings, which are done automatically when there is a difference in votes of less than 100, and a partial recount will be conducted in Kelowna Centre due to a transcription error involving one tabulator used in the riding.
These recounts are scheduled to take place Sunday and into Monday.
It's not clear if a recount will now be conducted in the Surrey-Guilford riding as well, due to the lead now being cut to just 14 votes.
In other updated ridings, the NDP candidate for Coquitlam-Burke Mountain extended her lead from 259 to 317 votes, while the Conservative candidate's lead in Surrey-Cloverdale dropped by 50 votes to 622.
In the Cariboo-Chilcotin riding. The commanding lead by the BC Conservative candidate in the Cariboo-Chilcotin also grew with the latest update.
