Police hunting for bank robber in Trail, B.C.

Police hunting bank robber

Police are investigating a bank robbery downtown Trail, B.C. last week.

RCMP say they were called on Feb. 2 at 3:51 p.m. for a robbery at the CIBC 1200 block of Bay Avenue.

A Caucasian man wearing a yellow and gray jacket, sunglasses, blue face mask, and blue latex gloves entered CIBC and presented a note to the teller demanding money from her.

The teller handed over $400 cash and the suspect ran off down Eldorado Street toward Pine Avenue.

Bank staff called the police right away and officers patrolled the area, questioning two possible suspects.

The incident remains under investigation.
