Hwy. 3 closed through Kootenay Pass for avalanche control work

Highway 3 has been closed in both directions on Tuesday evening for avalanche control work.

Highway 3 is closed in both directions through Kootenay Pass for avalanche control work, according to DriveBC.

DriveBC said the work was taking place between West Avalanche Gate and East Avalanche Gate.

The highway is expected to be closed until 10 p.m. Tuesday.
