Highway 1 west of Revelstoke is now open to single-lane alternating traffic after an earlier closure due to a vehicle incident, according to DriveBC.
The incident happened on the Trans-Canada Highway near Taft Road, 32 kilometres west of Revelstoke.
DriveBC warns drivers should expect major delays due to congestion.

Highway 1 is closed west of Revelstoke due to a vehicle incident, according to DriveBC.
DriveBC said the incident happened along the Trans-Canada Highway near Taft Road — 32 kilometres west of Revelstoke — at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
