The Upper Arrow Lake Ferry is running again

Ferry service running again

UPDATE: 2:47 p.m.

Ferry service is back up and running on Upper Arrow Lake.

Service was halted for several hours due to adverse weather conditions.


Drivers on Highway 23 are being advised that the Upper Arrow Lake Ferry at the Shelter Bay terminal is currently out of service.

According to Drive BC, The disruption of ferry service at Shelter Bay is due to adverse weather conditions.

The delay will impact travellers between Junction Highway 31 and Shelter Bay Provincial Park, 48 kilometres south of Revelstoke. The next update from DriveBC is expected to be released at 3:00 p.m.
