Suspect sought after woman confronted by naked man on Burnaby trail

Burnaby RCMP has issued a warning and a plea for tips after a man exposed himself out on a local trail.

On Dec. 3, at around 3:15 p.m., a woman was met by a naked male while out running in the area of South Campus Road and Science Road at “Mel’s Trail” at SFU on Burnaby Mountain, police say.

There was no interaction and the man was reported to have fled after being seen by the complainant.

Police are continuing to investigate the public exposure. The individual is described as a white male, approximately 35 to 45 years old, six-feet tall, dark brown short hair with no apparent tattoos or marks.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or similar incidents to contact the Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999.
