Prince George police say they made an 'oversight' in missing person news release that failed to mention he is wanted for murder

Prince George RCMP say an "oversight" led to them issuing a media release for a missing person without including that the man is wanted for murder and possibly dangerous.

Anthony Graham is being investigated in relation to the double homicide of Carlos and Erick Fryer, whose bodies were found near Naramata in May 2021. Penticton RCMP said in June that Graham is considered armed and dangerous.

On November 4, 2021, the Prince George RCMP released information that Graham was missing after having last been seen in Prince George on May 23, with no reference to his wanted status.

"It was an oversight made by this office not duplicating the public warning about Mr. Graham. We are putting processes in place to make sure such an omission does not happen again," reads an update from RCMP on Friday, Nov. 5.

"If you have any information about Anthony James Graham or where he might be, please contact your local police or call 9-1-1, or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477 or online at www.northernbccrimestoppers.ca."

Graham, 35, of Penticton is charged with first degree murder along with Wade Cudmore, 32, of Naramata. Cudmore is currently behind bars awaiting trial.
