Telus says it has restored wireless services to customers in B.C. and Alberta "after some customers experienced intermittent issues for about an hour today."

"We know how critical connectivity is for our customers, and we sincerely apologize for the service interruption," the company said in a statement to Castanet.

Telus is dealing with a service outage impacting wireless customers in Western Canada.

The telecom giant says it is working to restore service as soon as possible to impacted customers in B.C. and Alberta.

Service interruptions have been intermittent for users and have not impacted everyone.

There have also been some reports from Bell wireless customers that that service has dropped, although the company has yet to confirm if they are also experiencing problems.
