The BC Wildfire Service continues to respond to the wildfire southwest of Deka Lake, near 100 Mile House, officially known as C41102. The fire has grown to 200 hectares and remains classified as out of control.
The fire remains classified as Out of Control and is experiencing increased fire activity as the day goes on.
Smoke from the fire is highly visible from surrounding areas.
The Cariboo Regional District has expanded the Evacuation Order for properties in the Deka Lake area and has issued an Evacuation Alert for properties in the Sulphurous Lake area.
