A strange sight on a DriveBC highway camera Thursday morning. If you look closely there appears to be a sleigh at the top of the image.
The photo is from the West Kootenay area on Highway 3 and appears to have captured a shot of Santa and his reindeer.
Legend has it that Santa's magic sleigh is drawn by nine reindeers - Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph - the most famous of them all. The photo shows Rudolph's bright red nose helping to guide Santa's sleigh on the cold night of Christmas Eve. All the other reindeer made fun of Rudolph for his red nose but he is Santa's favourite.
