VCH warns of COVID-19 exposure at Downtown Vancouver club

Nightclub COVID warning

Vancouver Coastal Health is notifying people who visited a Downtown Vancouver club that they may have been exposed to COVID-19 last week.

On its public exposures page, the agency lists a warning for Levels Nightclub located at 560 Seymour St. at the top of its current exposures.

If you visited the club during the times of possible exposure, it does not mean you will develop COVID-19. The possible exposures are believed to be low risk but, out of an abundance of caution, Public Health asks anyone who may have visited the location listed on the specified dates and times to monitor themselves for symptoms:

  • Potential exposure dates: Aug. 4, Aug. 7
  • Potential exposure time: 9 p.m. to closing ( 3 a.m.) on both dates

There is no known risk to anyone who attended any listed locations outside of the specified dates and times. If people remain healthy and do not develop symptoms, there is no need to self-isolate and people can continue with their usual daily activities.

If you have been identified as a COVID-19 case or close contact, VCH Public Health will contact you directly and provide further instruction.
