Surrey RCMP nabbed a Lamborghini doing 131 km/h in a 60 zone last week.
The traffic unit was conducting speed enforcement on 96 Avenue and 172 Street on Thursday when the Italian supercar was clocked at more than double the limit.
"Driver served VT for excessive speeding, no front plate and seven-day vehicle impoundment," Surrey RCMP tweeted.
The Motor Vehicle Act defines excessive speeding as going over 40 km/h above the speed limit. Doing so comes with a hefty $483 fine in addition to a seven-day vehicle impound.
