RCMP renew call for info on Fraser Lake man missing since 2017

Still missing after 3 years

RCMP remain hopeful the mystery surrounding the disappearance of a Fraser Lake man three years ago can be solved.

Like they did after he first went missing, Mounties issued a call Wednesday for any information that could lead to finding out what happened to Jerry Keith Krietz.

He had been reported missing on July 9, 2017, after he failed to return from a shopping trip to Prince George. He was last seen in on July 7, 2017 when he was leaving the Downtown Motel in Prince George.

On Aug. 3, 2017, his car was found abandoned west of Prince George with no sign of Kreitz despite an extensive ground and air search.

Kreitz was 42 years old at the time.

His car was described as a white 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier with distinctive Pontiac rims, a sunroof, some body rust, a Monster / Fox logo in the back window and B.C. licence plate EK227.

Anyone who may have information on where Krietz may be is asked to call the Fraser Lake RCMP at 250-699-7777 or Prince George RCMP at 250-562-3300.
