Traffic has begun moving again slowly west of Revelstoke as repair crews continue to work on flooding on the Trans-Canada Highway. Crews are working on both issues and as of noon both are open to single lane alternating traffic.
A tweet by Emcon Services Selkirk Division shows traffic driving through water that is still flowing across the highway as of noon Friday.

The Trans-Canada Highway has reopened west of Revelstoke to single-lane-alternating traffic, says DriveBC.
Motorists should expect major delays.
The highway has also fully reopened west of the city. Extended delays are expected there due to a heavy backlog of traffic.
UPDATED: 9:10 a.m.
The Trans-Canada Highway has been closed west of Revelstoke since early Thursday morning due to heavy flooding, but there's some light at the end of the tunnel for stuck travellers.
DriveBC now estimates the highway will be reopened, at least partially, at noon.
The highway is also closed east of Revelstoke, towards Golden, but DriveBC estimates that section of the highway will be reopened by 10 a.m.
The closures have also caused significant delays at the Upper Arrow Lake and Needles ferries, as motorists attempt to get around the closures. Multiple hour waits have been reported at both ferries.

Flood concerns and road work on the Trans-Canada Highway near Revelstoke continue to cause issues Friday morning.
The highway itself remains closed in both directions west of Revelstoke due to flooding, as well as east of Revelstoke to Golden. Work is in progress but there is no estimated time of opening currently available and there is no detour.
Traffic has been backing up for more 24 hours and the Needles Ferry at Fauquier is currently at a four-sailing wait due to people looking for a way around the flooding. The Upper Arrow Lakes ferry faces similar delays.
