Virtual tours of 10 of the least stressful cities worldwide

Chill out, less stress here

For many people, a holiday is synonymous with a tropical island, complete with a glistening, white-sand beach, crystal clear waters and bright sunshine. With that being said, others prefer the electric buzz of a sprawling metropolis, and would rather spend their days shopping, eating, and exploring.

For those who prefer discoving the world's big cities, Love2Laundry has compiled a list of the least-stressful cities to visit 'post-lockdown.' Of course, it is impossible to know when that will be, but travellers may scope out prospective vacation destinations from the comfort of their homes through a number of virtual tours, livestreams, and galleries.

Love2Laundry, a customized laundry service based in London, determined its ranking of the least stressful cites based on categories like the number of green spaces, friendliness and transport quality. It also looked at the cost of a meal for two, the average sunlight hours, air pollution and population density.

“At a time when travel is limited, we are aware that everyone needs some escapism, " said Nadeem Abbas, Founder, Love2Laundry.

"As a supporter of many Airbnb businesses, we hope this data inspires people for their future travels beyond the limitations in place because of Coronavirus and helps keep that wanderlust alive even in this difficult time.”

Love2Laundry notes that friendliness was its leading category because cities in general are perceived as more hostile places so it decided to lead the research with cities known for having welcoming cultures.
