Another staff member at a B.C. care home has tested positive for COVID-19.
Fraser Health and CTV News Vancouver are reporting a diagnosis in a staff member at a Langley care home, the Langley Lodge, which is owned by the Langley Care Society.
The staff member is now in self-isolation at home and Fraser health has indicated that "enhanced control measures" have now been put in place at the facility and officials are working to identify anyone who may have been come into contact with the infected staff member.
"During this time, Fraser Health will have a presence at the site to take any further actions required and support the facility," a statement from Fraser Health says.
"This includes dedicated people to address quality, answer questions from staff, residents and family, and provide active checks of symptoms with staff and residents."
The COVID-19 virus has been found in more than a dozen care homes in the Lower Mainland.
