A man was stabbed at a downtown Vancouver supportive housing complex Friday night

A 29-year-old man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries at about 11 p.m., while a 39-year-old man was arrested, CTV New reports.

The stabbing occurred in a supportive housing residence in the city's Chinatown neighbourhood. The modular housing site houses people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and it's operated by the Portland Hotel Society.

Police are still investigating the incident, but they've said they believe it was an isolated incident.
