The Trans-Canada Highway has reopened Saturday afternoon west of Revelstoke after a fiery semi truck crash closed the highway all morning.
The serious crash occurred at about 8:30 a.m. near Three Valley Gap.
While the highway has now been reopened, DriveBC warns of "major delays" for drivers in the area.

Highway 1 remains closed west of Revelstoke Saturday afternoon, after a serious crash closed the highway in both directions earlier.
DriveBC estimates the highway will reopen by 2 p.m. Castanet will have more updates as they become available.

The Trans-Canada Highway remains closed west of Revelstoke Saturday morning, following a serious crash near Three Valley Gap.
While DriveBC initially estimated the road would reopen by 1:30 p.m., it's since changed its tune, saying a reopening time is unknown.
The nature of the crash, and condition of those involved, is unknown at this time, but snow was falling heavily in the area at the time of the crash.

A fiery crash has closed the Trans-Canada Highway west of Revelstoke Saturday morning, as heavy snow falls on the area.
The crash occurred near the Three Vally Gap area, and DriveBC says the highway could remain closed in both directions until at least 1:30 p.m.
Photos from the scene show at least one semi truck fully engulfed in flames.

Travel to the coast may be a little more slippery than it was this past week, with snow falling on the Coquihalla Highway Saturday morning.
About two centimetres of snow has fallen at the Coquihalla Summit this morning, with more forecast to fall through the day.
Highway cameras from the area show foggy conditions with slushy snow covering the highway.
Conditions are much clearer on the Okanagan Connector, where roads appear dry and visibility looks great.
The snow at higher elevations is looking like good news for skiers and boarders, with some snow falling at Big White early Saturday.
The resort has seen some colder, dry sunny days throughout this past week, but two to four centimetres are forecast to fall on the hill today.
To the north, SilverStar woke up to find four cm of new snow, while Apex in the south saw one new cm.
