A plane crashed in a field north of Victoria Tuesday morning.
A small plane crashed in a rural field north of Victoria Tuesday morning.
The Saanich Fire Department says no one was injured when the Cessna 172P crashed in the field in Blenkinsop Valley.
The small plane ended up on its roof, but all of the people inside were able to remove themselves safely.
Transport Canada investigators are en route to the scene. It's unclear at this time why the plane crashed.
The plane, built in 1981, is part of the Victoria Flying Club.
