A crash near Quesnel this morning involved a vehicle from Prince George’s Regional Corrections Centre.
According to North District RCMP, the incident occurred before 10:30 a.m. along Highway 97. Weather is believed to be a factor as the roads were determined to be slippery at the time.
Police believe the conditions caused the vehicle to go off the road and into a ditch.
Some of those inside the vehicle were medically treated for 'various non-life-threatening injuries' as a result of the incident.
An investigation is ongoing, North District RCMP say.
