RCMP have made an arrest in connection to 2018 death now confirmed as a homicide.
On Friday, the North District Major Crime Unit and Williams Lake RCMP arrested Wyatt Lee Boffa, 29, of Clinton in the 2018 death of Jamie Sellars Baldwin, 43.
Boffa was taken into police custody without incident and has been charged with first degree murder. He remains in police custody.
Police responded to the suspicious death the night of Dec. 11, 2018.
"Major crime investigators have remained committed, to Baldwin’s family and the entire community, to piecing together the circumstances surrounding his sudden death," Insp. Jeff Pelley of the Williams Lake RCMP said in a press release.
The police investigation continues, and investigators encourage anyone with information to come forward.
