Investigators are searching for a suspect after a sex assault in the Mount Douglas Park area of Saanich on Vancouver Island.
Saanich police say they have begun the investigation after receiving a report at 11 p.m. Thursday night.
Police tell CTV News the do not believe the attack was random and the general public is not at risk.
The extent of the assault or condition of the victim has not been made available but Saanich police say they have made sex assault resources available to the victim as their search continues.
