Grizzlies in Garabaldi Lake cause for concern

People are not the only ones who enjoy spending time at Garibaldi Lake near Whistler.

Due to an increase in bear activity in the area and public safety concerns, BC Parks, on the recommendation of the Conservation Officer Service, is closing the trail to Garibaldi Lake and the Garibaldi Lake area of Garibaldi Park.

This is an addition to the full closure of the Taylor Meadows campground and the Taylor Meadows access trail.

The closures will be in effect until further notice
