Raising a million for Terry

A 94-year-old man is becoming a bit of a celebrity for raising more than $900,000 for the Terry Fox Foundation.

A story on The Terry Fox Foundation website highlights the amazing feat of Will Dwyer who has not missed a Terry Fox Run in 39 years.

Dwyer has raised $910,890 and hopes to reach the $1 million.

But time is running out for Dwyer with this year's run being his last.

The battle against cancer is a personal one for Dwyer. Not only does he have cancer, but he lost two sons and his mother to cancer.

When asked what keeps him going, the answer is always the same: “To find a cure for cancer.”

Donations to help Dwyer reach his $1 million goal can be made online.
