Highway 97 was closed for nearly 11 hours north of Prince George, Sunday, due to a fatal crash that killed two people.
RCMP say the incident occurred about 5 p.m. when a northbound vehicle crashed into a southbound transport truck, roughly 12 kilometres south of McLeod Lake.
Two people were found dead when first responders arrived, while a third was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Highway 97 reopened shortly after 6 a.m Monday.
