The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken over the scene at a fatal car crash in South Surrey.
Police say an additional scene of interest has been identified, but did not elaborate on why the homicide squad has taken over the investigation.
The area surrounding the scene will be cordoned off for a significant amount of time, RCMP advise.

Three people have died in a crash in South Surrey.
RCMP responded to the single-vehicle crash about 10:30 a.m. at the 32nd Avenue diversion under the Highway 99 overpass.
Upon arrival, officers determined all three occupants of the vehicle were deceased.
Police say the cause of the crash is not known at this time.
Road closures are in effect for 32nd Avenue at 152nd Street, 32nd Avenue at King George Boulevard, and the Highway 99 southbound Exit 8B.
