Three people were taken to hospital, one with critical, life-threatening injuries, after a motorcycle slammed into a pedestrian in downtown Victoria Saturday evening.
CTV reports the pedestrian is battling for life, while the motorcycle rider and passenger suffered serious injuries after being thrown from the bike.
Police say the motorcycle was heading west on Pandora Avenue when it struck the pedestrian at the intersection with Douglas Street.
These's no indication whether the pedestrian was in a crosswalk at the time.
Victoria police have put out a plea to bystanders who witnessed the crash and assisted the victims to contact them if they have not already done so. Anyone with information is asked to call 250-955-7654.
