A man was shot and killed after a road rage incident turned deadly early Friday morning.
Just after 1:30 a.m., police received reports of a man shot near Bridgeway Street, under the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge.
Officers found a 33-year-old Vancouver man shot dead, and a woman in the same vehicle suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
“The evidence suggests that this homicide was the result of a road rage incident between the victim ... and the suspect, who was in a white sedan,” said Sgt. Jason Robillard of the VPD.
Police have yet to make any arrests.
Investigators have asked anyone who may have dash cam footage near the intersection of McGill Street and Renfrew Street between 1:30 and 2 a.m. to contact them at 604-717-2500.
This is the 14th homicide in Vancouver this year.
