UPDATE: 11:15 p.m.

Tim Hortons on Bernard Avenue in Kelowna saw a steady line all morning long, for Camp Day.

"It's a great opportunity for people to come and show their support for the kids." said employee Katelynn Grizell.

"No one keeps track of how many coffees you have today," said one customer. "There is no limit on Camp Day."

It's that one day of the year where you can make a huge difference in children's lives just by buying a coffee.

Tim Horton's Camp Day is back - it's the annual fundraiser that sends economically disadvantaged kids to camp.

On Camp Day, Tim Hortons restaurant owners generously donate all proceeds from coffee sales to the Tim Horton Children's Foundation, which helps send more than 15,000 kids each year on an unforgettable, life-changing, fun-filled camping adventure that will inspire them for years to come.

For the third year, Tim Hortons guests can also purchase a limited edition Camp Day bracelet at participating Tim Hortons restaurants for $2 while supplies last. They are available in four colours: blue, red, green and orange.

Over the past 26 years, more than $200 million has been raised for the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation, allowing more than 250,000 kids to go.
