More charges have now been laid against a Coquitlam piano teacher.
Dmytro Kubyshkin is now facing a total of 10 charges including 7 additional counts of sexual assault and 3 counts of sexual interference.
Kubyshkin gave private piano lessons in private homes for more than 20 years and these allegations stretch back to 1998. The latest charges against Kubyshkin were laid on May 18, 2018, and he has been released on a number of new conditions including:
- Kubyshkin is not allowed to teach piano to students under the age of 18,
- He is not allowed to be alone with anyone under 18,
- His students must be fully aware of the charges against him.
Coquitlam RCMP says the investigation is still ongoing and they are interested in speaking to anyone who has further information or who believes they may have been a victim.
