The Port Mann Bridge had to be shut down at both ends overnight as police had their hands full with a person requiring assistance.
Police received a complaint about a person requiring assistance and the deemed the incident a threat to the travelling public.
The incident was resolved peacefully before 11 p.m. and the bridge has since re-opened.
One person has been taken into custody. There were no injuries sustained by the person requiring assistance or the police that responded to the complaint.
