A 14-year-old boy is believed to have drowned in a hot tub near Golden Friday afternoon.
Just before 5 p.m., the BC Ambulance Service responded to a report of a possible drowning at a home just outside of Golden.
A 14-year-old boy from Toronto was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
“At this time the death does not appear to be suspicious,” said Const. Spencer Lainchbury of the Golden-Field RCMP.
The BC Coroner's Service continues to investigate the death.
