The section of Highway 1 is now open after a vehicle incident closed it on Sunday morning.

UPDATE: 9:40 a.m.

Traffic has been reduced to single lane alternating traffic after a vehicle incident near Three Valley Gap on Highway 1.

Drive BC said the incident occurred four kilometres west of Three Valley Gap.

Crews are responding to a vehicle incident on Highway 1 near Three Valley Gap on Sunday.

It is not clear how many vehicles were involved or what lead to the incident.

DriveBC said they are looking into the incident.
