A man who's believed to have been skiing at Revelstoke Mountain Resort this week is missing, and search and rescue crews are combing the mountain for any signs of him.
Michael Foster stayed at the Revelstoke Backpacker Hostel Tuesday, and bought a three-day pass at the resort.
The 24-year-old man failed to show up for work in Airdrie, Alta. and was reported missing Friday.
Foster's banking information shows his last transactions were on Tuesday, and his blue truck was found in the RMR parking lot, covered in several days' worth of snow.
Police believe Foster was skiing alone. He has minimal backcountry experience.
Revelstoke Mountain Resort ski patrol are conducting sweeps of the inbound areas of the mountain, while Revelstoke Search and Rescue are searching the out of bound areas of the hill.
Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for Foster and report to police if they see him.
Foster is described as a five-foot-six Caucasian man with blue eyes and average build.
